Dictatorship: Mali's demise.

What happened in Mali should be of concern to people from around the world. Why would anyone trust a military junta's word who toppled a democratically elected president ? The return to dictatorship in this hemisphere is as real as the rising sun.

Historically, military dictatorship has never worked. The first bad sign that something is going wrong is the continuing looting of the country's resources by that military junta as soon as a president is deposed. The junta will establish a timeline, but it will be pushed back so junta members, their families and close friends could copiously ruin and ransack the entire country.

The only purpose for the rule by force in a country is to kill, steal, and destroy. The rule of thumb is NEVER TRUST a dictator's promise. Ruling a country at gun point is nothing but a form of gangster-ism. When dictators come to power, it feels like the fox is guarding the hen house. Stealing from the  country's treasury by the dictator's family and close friends is common place, wheeling and dealing... meanwhile the dictator is toying with the people, taking advantage and telling them to stay calm, that everything is under control... In dictatorships, thieves are lying to your face!

In a speech, Victor Constant, one of Duvalier's acolytes, told the people the Grand Rue, Haitian's equivalent of Main Street, is the best road construction ever in the Caribbean...and his idiot followers applauded.

The only way a military coup could be reversed is through people uprising. The Malian people need to have a plan. They should arm themselves first to ensure their security, organize in huge numbers, stage protests and start  civil disobedience throughout the country.

Nobody, no organizations from around the world, are coming to help the Malian people. They don't know it yet, but they are on their own in this. Unfortunately, in this world, there are Avatars that are are looking for opportunities such as this to start looting a country's resources and treasury. The more chaos in a country the better they could create fear and intimidation.

The threat to democracy is real. A democratic country can turn into dictatorship by gangster-ism's rise in these countries. Here are the signs: impunity, tolerance, nepotism, corruption, abuse of power, indifference is derived by the dictator's lack of empathy for people and his enjoyment of bloodshed. Dictators use the country's military leaders as puppets that he breaks at will whenever he no longer needs them for his purpose.

People should NEVER TRUST anything a dictator says. Because, dictators are pathological liars. Even the dictator's idiot followers should not trust him in that respect. The sooner they realize the EMPEROR HAS NO CLOTHES and they are being played a fool, the better they could help reverse the situation into civilian rule.

Dictators are corrupt to a fault. Don't confuse the establishment of a military junta as a springboard back into democracy. The junta's timeline to elections is nothing but a smokescreen, because gangsters do not organize peaceful and honest elections.

Military coups happen in countries where the people are completely disarmed and untrained in handling firearms, where military men who don't have a mission are trained to regard their fellow citizens as the enemy.
