Haïti: Deuxième Assassinat Politique...

Un an trois mois après le crime du 7 juillet 2021 à Pellerin 5, on assassine Eric Jean Baptiste, ancien candidat à la présidence.

Cette fois, la méthode appliquée s'appelle: un get-apens. Garde de corps et voiture, sont criblés de balles. 

Il parait que l'ONU ne bougera pas sans que des crimes soient commis sur la population. Donc, il faut dramatiser, agresser, tuer. D'autant plus, les chambres d'hôtels sont vides. 

Elles doivent attendre encore...

Voir, des cadavres trainer dans la rue. C'est le moyen plus efficace pour forcer la main de l'ONU et rehausser le drame.

Par la force des choses, en Haïti, ce n'est plus seulement une silhouette, mais encore et surtout, le visage découvert d'un régime sanguinaire qui se prononce.

De son côté, l'ONU, agit en chat échaudé et ne se laissera pas prendre plusieurs fois dans le même piège.

En Haïti, ce sont des loups-garous qui gardent nos bébés.

Seashore is changing rapidly...

Just had the surprise of a lifetime. I wanted to walk down the beach today October 26, 2022. I took that area of the beach for granted thinking it will always be there for me whenever I need. Where did it go?

The beach is gone!

It happened gradually over the past four years. Sands on the left side had begun to vanish after I sat there the previous year enjoying the sunshine with my wife and family. The souvenir picture from left was taken on July 3rd, 2019.

In a three-year period, the beach is completely gone! No more solitary 1-mile walks on the sand… In August 2021, I took another picture of the same area. It was obvious something was happening; the sea was gradually taking over.

I thought something was going on and continued to quietly document what's happening. Pieces of the beach were chopped off and huge rocks were distributed along the coast as to protect the hotel's backyard fence. In reality, the battle was over before it began.

A friend of mine who lives near the coast reports another phenomenon. A Seaweed invasion is taking place further south. It appears that, up and down the Eastern seashore beach areas are not only getting washed into the sea but seaweeds are a threat to those formerly pristine areas. Sea levels are rising more quickly than anticipated…

The picture from the left was taken yesterday, October 26, 2022. There's nothing left of the sand and beach I enjoyed is completely wiped out. The degradation is so severe, I don't see how it could be reversed.

Le phénomène MIKABEN...

A franchement parler, le bruit retentissant est arrivé avec tant de fracas, qu'il m'a fallu remettre les pendules à l'heure...

D'après les informations disponible, MIKABEN était un jeune artiste Haïtien qui vient de succomber en plein concert. 

Une foule en liesse fit le déplacement à Paris. Le jeune artiste Haïtien de 41-an, marchant sur scène, s'écroule.  

Le cliché a fait le tour du monde. L'auditoire parait abasourdi, portable en main, prise de vidéo/photo, regardant l'un et l'autre, et ne sachant quoi faire...

MIKABEN est le fils de l'ancien chanteur Lionel Benjamin. Le jeune MIKABEN a fait des prodiges, soit en solo ou en collaboration avec d'autres artistes. 

MIKABEN, par son admission, s'accroche un sourire au visage à tout moment. C'était un jeune homme sans façon, un artiste de talent, polyvalent, qui aimait son métier de musicien.  

Ce qui demeure incompréhensible a été l'absence de professionels de la santé, de policiers, pompiers et service ambulance dans une salle de concert emplie à craquer...

1999 U.S Open: Serena Williams...

I finally found the Serena Williams' picture 

I took at the 1999 U.S Open. She was only 17

years old. 

I took the shot while standing on the second row 

at the Arthur Ashe Stadium, National Tennis Center, 

Flushing Meadows New York. My camera of choice

was a 35mm Minolta film camera with a motorized 

100 to 400 mm zoom lens. In 1999, there were few 

powerful digital cameras with zoom lens accessories

publicly available. 

As I recall, no particular announcement was made as both players entered the court. 

I could be wrong, but Serena's opponent looks like the former tennis great, Monica Seles.

Serena won her first U.S Open that year.

Good guess on my part (after checking YouTube). The woman walking behind Serena Williams that night was in fact Monica Seles who lost the quarter finals match in three sets. 4-6, 6-3, 6-2. Here is the entire match.

Pigeon Voyageur...

Le ciel a pleuré ! Il fallait y vivre là-bas pour s'en rendre compte de la situation socio-politique et économique. 

On me l'a dit pour me rassurer. Mais, voir comment sont les choses en personne est une autre affaire. Je marchais sur des sentiers autrefois sanglants, qui sont aujourd'hui pacifiés. Chacun s'occupe de ses affaires pendant que tout s'écroule autour d'eux sans s'en apercevoir... 

Il fallait voir cela. Je demeure convaincu. Aujourd'hui les hommes sont beaucoup plus aptes à se faire leurer par des paroles. Bons parleurs, ils le sont tous. Entre-temps, ils vivent dans un monde chargé de fausses promesses et d'illusions...

Un homme démuni en apparence était venu me voir. Il m'a gentillement posé des questions. Qu'est-ce que je voulais, en quoi pourrait-il m'aider ? L'ironie de l'affaire. Il ne se rendait pas compte que son interlocuteur avait les yeux ouverts. Je savais déjà dans la pénombre du petit matin, au chant du coq, il sera le premier à renier mon nom.

Ici-bas, on peut légiférer à outrance, mais les anciennes habitudes demeurent. L'esclavage moderne a ses principes et sa méthodologie. Il faut mystifier pour faire céder les hommes mentalement, servilement, doucement. On a plus besoin de fers. Une fois l'esprit critique de l'homme est infecte, la bataille est terminée d'avance.

Si, là-bas certaines gens sont condamnées à survivre avec un salaire de misère et mourir de peines. Ici, après de longues journées de travaux, l'homme tend à se reposer, couchant sur un canapé. Demain, idem.

Ici, ce qui me paraissait écoeurant, c'était l'existence de petits corridors sinueux de la zone 2500 University Avenue. Tandis que là-bas, se trouvaient un cimetière et des maisons de la sorte. Tournant à gauche vers la petite église en bois de couleur blanche avec des raies noir, menant en-dessous du pont. Arrivé à ce coin de rue juxtaposé au cimetière, il faisait jour. Toutefois, je naviguais dans l'obscurité la plus parfaite. La scène du crime se révèle, morne, triste, débile.

On a beau essayé de cacher le soleil à Tisville. Mais la pluie est venue et troubla la fête.

Les voilà qui défilent sur le trottoir d'à côté ! Sous mes yeux, se déroule une 

drôle de procession.
