Printed Receipts: Consumer Beware!!!

Consumers who nurture the good habit of keeping records, here is some information for you to chew on. I know I am not the only one whose Cash Register Printed receipts are disappearing over time without a trace...

This is a recurring problem that no one seemed to notice. Department Stores cash registers and printed papers are expensive. Just imagine you were keeping payment receipts for something as important as Child Support or Alimony for example, and then, over time, these printed receipts just vanished... and you are called to appear with proof of payment before a judge. 

You paid for a parking ticket with Money Order, you thought the record kept was safe from tampering. Let me tell you, the printed receipt you counted on could disappear over time. There you are, being harassed for non-payment of Parking Violations, and the printed Money Order receipts, over time, just faded away, until unreadable. This is becoming a problem nationwide.

Did you ever take a second look at an old airline ticket receipt lately? The ink is barely readable. If travel is part of your business, these printed receipts could serve as proof of purchase when filing your expense report for work or when filing your taxes...

Consumers could no longer have proof of payment. Unless complaints are made, there will be no action taken by printer manufacturers to protect the consumer. 

The best course of action is to consult a specialist who could digitize your receipts and maintaining them for you...otherwise, you could be taken to the slaughterhouse.
