New England fans were over the moon last night as they watched the Tampa Bay Buccaneers capture the championship title over the Kansas City Chiefs. Several of these fans called me "Are you watching this?", "Yep!"
The fact is, I wouldn't have missed the game for the world... Tom Brady at age 43 have done what none of the world's greatest players of all time have tried, but failed: A successful comeback and that puts Tom Brady over the top.
Pelé had Didi and Vava, Jairsinho, Tostao, Rivelino by his side. Michael Jordan had Scotty Pippen, Dennis Rodman and others... Tom Brady took a rag-tag team and won not only the Division Series but the Superbowl. That accomplishment puts him over the top in any sports. Congrats to Tom Brady and the Buccaneers ! (BTW : We are living in a modern world and the team's name needs to be changed.)
