Technology: One more step for humankind...
Let's be clear, this is not the first time humankind has made a childhood dream come closer to reality. As a child, I grew up reading the Adventures of Tintin.
Tintin, a journalist, was always accompanied by his dog Milou. Woof! Woof!
Problem solving is Tintin's business. In the book series, the Tintin character visited the moon and mars all dressed up in a spacesuit, even his dog strolled in with a custom outfit.
Tintin walked on the surface of the moon before the astronauts took the historic first step on the Apollo 13. When the lunar module landed in the late sixties, it was man's imagination on paper that came to life.
That created an uproar!
While the scientific community was pleased and hopeful, preachers widely condemned the enterprise and thought these planets were celestial entities that man had no business interfering with.
Tintin went on to the hidden side of the moon, stepped on both planets a first time before returning to Mars. As a young adult, reading Tintin's cartoons was both, a pleasure and an adventure in itself.
The moment of fascination enjoyed during this author's childhood came when Tintin and his crew welcomed Armstrong, the American astronaut, on the surface of the Moon. The latter stood at the bottom of the Apollo 13 ladder bewildered that he was not the first man to set foot on the Moon.
What prompted the second mission? Did the first mission fail? Would Perseverance be able to rescue, repair or destroy Curiosity?
Well done, NASA! (But, remember to give credit to Tintin :-) After the second Mars landing

Dr. Frederick K.C Price
The early eighties were the golden age of American televangelism. Dr. Frederick K.C. Price at the Crenshaw Christian Center in California presented himself as a Bible Teacher. Christians from all walks of life were glued to his early morning television broadcast program. (7:00 EDT before going to their individual church)
Dr. Frederick K.C. Price Evidence Theme music and signature words "We Walk by Faith and not by Sight" caught this author's mind and spirit...
Dr. Price's Bible teachings portrayed the Christian life as the journey of a Marathon runner, not a Sprinter. His way of explaining difficult Bible concepts to the audience was exemplary. Dr. Price kept everything simple while using etymological techniques to dissect these words into their Latin and Greek components. That was his way of communicating the inspiring message of the day.
Dr. Price's series on Race, Religion and Racism draw a great deal of criticism from other ministries. But, before his passing, recent history had proved him right...
Dr. Price's television program changed many hearts from East to West, North and South.
Thanks for the Bible teachings!
You will be missed.
Until we meet again, rest in power and peace under the caring hands of our Heavenly father.

The former president's defense team took to the floor of the US Senate.
Senate Final vote : 57 yes to convict 43 No. The former president is acquitted.

Military Dictatorship in Myanmar...
The people in Myanmar needs a more vigorous response from Western countries. There no time to waste. On our watch, an entire country could descend into anarchy and chaos. The Myanmar military must be given an ULTIMATUM to free the hostages and restore DEMOCRATIC rule.
What happened in that tiny country could have a DOMINO effect not only in the region, but throughout the world. Aspiring dictators and despots are watching the West's TIMID response to the crisis.
Once again, Western leaders should give the Myanmar military a time table to leave POWER and return to their barracks.
Historically, economic sanctions, embargos alone, never worked. Ten, twenty, fifty years later, dictators manage to survive and outlast many Western governments. Sanctions tend to punish the very people who needs help.
Diplomacy needs real threats behind it. In some respect, just one phone call could diffuse the Myanmar crisis and avoid hundreds of civilian casualties.

Tom Brady's name synonymous to Superbowl
New England fans were over the moon last night as they watched the Tampa Bay Buccaneers capture the championship title over the Kansas City Chiefs. Several of these fans called me "Are you watching this?", "Yep!"
The fact is, I wouldn't have missed the game for the world... Tom Brady at age 43 have done what none of the world's greatest players of all time have tried, but failed: A successful comeback and that puts Tom Brady over the top.
Pelé had Didi and Vava, Jairsinho, Tostao, Rivelino by his side. Michael Jordan had Scotty Pippen, Dennis Rodman and others... Tom Brady took a rag-tag team and won not only the Division Series but the Superbowl. That accomplishment puts him over the top in any sports. Congrats to Tom Brady and the Buccaneers ! (BTW : We are living in a modern world and the team's name needs to be changed.)
